In case you’ve been stuck under a rock – or, on a rock, in my case, it’s officially pumpkin season. And even though I get caught up in the excitement every year when the season rolls around, I’m always a little cautiously optimistic about the latest and greatest pumpkin products. Is it just me, or are they totally hit or miss?

I had some pumpkin-flavored chocolates recently that literally made me gag. But I had high hopes for the carton of pumpkin-flavored greek yogurt I stumbled upon at my local grocery store. Sadly I ended up eating the yogurt for a breakfast-on-the-go, and it turned out to be way too much pumpkin sweetness at 6am. But, it prompted a great idea: a take on my Light Frozen Lime Yogurt Pie using the greek yogurt. You know, like ice cream cake. But, a pumpkin pie version.

I’m preeeetty sure this dessert is completely healthy because it’s filled with Chobani greek yogurt. Um, right? Oh, except for the fresh whipped cream topping. And graham cracker crumb crust. But believe me, it’s all worth it. This frozen yogurt pumpkin pie is the perfect mix between a traditional holiday treat and something a little more fun and refreshing. So with that, happy pumpkin season!

6 T butter, melted
4 cups of Chobani pumpkin-flavored greek yogurt
half pint whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 T sugar
